performance of the much-loved Christmas opera starring Laurel’s own
Holly
Dodd in the role of Amahl.

Soprano
Holly Dodd holds a Music Degree with a vocal performance emphasis from
The University of Southern Mississippi. Since moving to Laurel in 1991,
she has performed with the Laurel Little Theater, given a recital for
Immaculate
Conception Church’s Concert Series, and has been the soprano soloist
for
a community-wide presentation of Handel’s Messiah and First-Trinity
Presbyterian
Church’s Good Friday presentation of Dubois’ Seven Last Words of
Christ.
She currently is a member of the Laurel Community Orchestra and is a
soloist
with the Chancel Choir of First-Trinity Presbyterian Church. Holly is
the
Director of Marketing at The Lauren Rogers Museum of Art in
Laurel.
